What is the genesis of the firm?
Fulcrum's founding partners saw that many institutions, portfolio managers, and hedge funds, on all levels, have been under-served by brokerage firms ignoring the demands for unbiased research. Research produced by the large ubiquitous research providers many times is neither insightful, in-depth nor results oriented. By opportunistically aggregating the prime independent analytical research resources, Fulcrum provides a superior branded research product geared only to action-oriented recommendations.
What is the "Fulcrum" Point?
Our analysts are challenged to fully understand the companies they follow, free from bias including the bias of their own ratings. By truly comprehending both the bull and the bear cases for a stock, our analysts are better able to discern the critical point separating the two. Our analysts focus their research efforts on these critical drivers and use proprietary research to try to uncover crucial information before the rest of the Street.
